World Snooker loses major sponsors

Marketing Week reports that the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association, which has its headquarters in Bristol, has lost two of its major sponsors. Cuts in marketing budgets at 888.com and Saga Insurance have been cited as the reason for the early withdrawals which have left the World Snooker Championship and the Wembley Masters without backers next year.
