Bristol Evening Post assistant editor Kevan Blackadder, a prominent figure in the Temple Way newsroom for more than two decades, is taking over the Editor’s chair at Cheltenham on 21 July. He succeeds Anita Syvret who is setting up a media consultancy.

Bristol Evening Post Claims a Lotto Find!

Camelot Group plc, operator of The National Lottery, is pleased to announce that a £210,663 prize from the Lotto draw on 26 April 2008 which had previously remained outstanding in the Bristol area – has now been claimed.

The Bristol Evening Post is claiming a victory on this one after they urged readers to check their tickets in the Seven supplement on Saturday 31st May and the prize was claimed on Monday 2nd June.
